These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Mazdoor Lab (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), governing your access to and use of the Mazdoor Lab mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing, registering, or using the Platform in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of this Agreement:

• “Platform” refers to the Mazdoor Lab mobile application and website.
• “User” refers to any individual accessing or using the Platform.
• “Service Provider” refers to users offering services, shops, or listings.
• “Content” includes text, images, videos, audio, reviews, and any data uploaded.
• “Services” refer to all functionalities provided through the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

Mazdoor Lab operates as a digital intermediary platform that facilitates connections between users and service providers.

The Company does not:

• Provide direct services listed on the Platform
• Guarantee quality, safety, or legality of services offered by users
• Act as an employer, contractor, or agent of any user

All interactions, agreements, and transactions occur directly between users.

For services involving personal care, education, or supervision, users are responsible for verifying the qualifications, experience, and background of the service provider before engagement.

Mazdoor Lab does not certify or guarantee the credentials of any service provider.

3. Eligibility and Legal Capacity

You represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age; or
• You are accessing the Platform under supervision of a legal guardian

You further confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement under applicable laws.

4. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you are required to create an account.

You agree that:

• All information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date
• You will not impersonate another individual
• You are solely responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
• You accept full responsibility for all activities conducted through your account

The Company shall not be liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.

5. Identity Verification

For platform integrity and safety, certain users may be required to provide identity verification, including CNIC details and images.

By submitting such information:

• You confirm its authenticity and accuracy
• You grant us the right to verify and store such data
• You acknowledge that failure to verify may limit access to certain features

6. Services and Features

The Platform provides a wide range of services including, but not limited to:

• Location-based discovery of users and service providers
• Social interaction features (posts, likes, comments, followers)
• Real-time chat (text, audio, media, and location sharing)
• Hiring and job request system
• Subscription-based shop activation
• Product listings and e-commerce functionality
• Wallet/coin system and transaction tracking

All features are subject to availability and may be modified at any time.

7. Payments, Billing, and Subscriptions

All payments on the Platform are processed through Google Play Billing.

• Prices are displayed in PKR (Pakistani Rupees)
• Subscription is required for activating service provider profiles
• Subscription validity is limited and subject to renewal

Financial Terms:

• The Company does not store full payment details
• Payment disputes must be handled through Google Play mechanisms
• Fees once paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law

Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in suspension of services.

For services, payments between customers and service providers:

For services, payments between customers and service providers may occur directly between the parties. Mazdoor Lab is not responsible for such transactions unless explicitly processed through the platform’s official payment system.

8. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform in a lawful and responsible manner.

You shall not:

• Post or share unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or misleading content
• Engage in harassment, threats, or exploitation of other users
• Upload false information or impersonate others
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or manipulate the Platform
• Use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal activities

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination.

9. User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of content they upload. However, by uploading content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content within the Platform.

You are solely responsible for your content and its legality.

Prohibited Content Policy:
Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, posting, or sharing content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, sexually explicit, misleading, or violates any applicable laws or third-party rights.

Mazdoor Lab maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards such content. Any violation may result in immediate removal of content and permanent suspension of the user account.

We actively monitor, review, and take action on reported content to ensure platform safety.

10. Community Safety, Reporting, and Moderation

The Platform includes safety mechanisms to ensure user protection.

Users may report content, posts, or accounts deemed inappropriate.

Users may block other users to restrict interaction.

The Company reserves the absolute right to:

• Review and investigate reported content
• Remove or restrict access to content
• Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts
• Take any necessary action to enforce these Terms

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice in cases of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior
• Legal or regulatory requirements

12. Account Deletion Policy

Users can delete their account directly from within the app through the account settings section.

Once a deletion request is submitted:

• The account is deactivated immediately
• A grace period of 7 days is provided for recovery
• After the grace period, all personal data is permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law

Certain information may be retained where legally required.

13. Location-Based Services

The Platform uses location data to provide proximity-based services.

• Nearby users and services are displayed based on location
• Exact location is not publicly shared
• Users consent to location usage by enabling permissions

14. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates third-party services including:

• Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, notifications)
• Google Sign-In (authentication)
• Google Play Billing (payments)

The Company is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• The Company is not responsible for disputes between users
• Use of the Platform is at your own risk

The Company does not pre-screen all user-generated content but reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict any content at its sole discretion. Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, and the Company shall not be liable for any user-generated content or its consequences.

Users engage with service providers at their own risk.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of:

• Your use of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of any rights of third parties

17. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in the Platform (excluding user content) remain the exclusive property of Mazdoor Lab.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

18. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this Agreement.

19. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pakistan.

21. Food Service Disclaimer:

For home-based food services, including home cooking, baking, and tiffin services, Mazdoor Lab does not guarantee hygiene standards, food safety, or quality.

Users are responsible for verifying food suitability and any allergies before consumption. The Company shall not be liable for any food-related issues including allergies or health concerns.

22. Cancellation Policy:

Customers and service providers are responsible for managing cancellations between themselves. Repeated cancellations, misuse, or last-minute cancellations may result in warnings, restrictions, or account suspension at the Company’s discretion.
